Yvette Nicole Brown, best known for her role in “Community,” and her fiancé Anthony Davis are a testament to love’s perfect timing. At 52, Brown is engaged and couldn’t be happier to share a bit of her story, hoping it encourages others. Brown, who spent many years happily single, emphasized the importance of waiting for the right person rather than settling. “To be my age and to have waited for the man my heart loves — that’s a testimony. It’s both aspirational and inspirational,” she tells Curtis Stone. Davis and Brown’s love story blossomed from a decades-long friendship that turned romantic after reuniting post-her mother’s death in 2021. Davis reached out to Brown following his divorce, rekindling their connection, which, according to him, was founded on friendship.
Their engagement, announced during Brown’s guest co-hosting stint on “The View,” marks a new chapter for the couple who met in their 20s. As for the wedding, Brown confesses she’s open to anything as long as it’s with Davis, who’s just as flexible about the details. “Whether it’s at the Justice of the Peace or a vineyard, the only thing that matters is it has to be you,” Davis says.
