Tom Holland just gave the internet the answer it has been chasing for months, and in true Tomdaya fashion, he did it without handing over the whole diary. In a new Esquire U.K. interview, Holland confirmed that he and Zendaya are married after being asked about viral AI-generated wedding photos that had fans, family members, and timelines spiraling.
When asked if he had to warn relatives that the fake wedding images were not real, Holland paused and replied, “No, because they were all there.” Then, before anyone could pry for ceremony details, he shut the door with: “That’s all you’ll get on that.”
The confirmation lands after months of marriage speculation around Zendaya and Tom Holland. Back in March, Zendaya’s longtime stylist Law Roach stirred the pot on the Actor Awards red carpet when he said, “The wedding has already happened. You missed it.” Around the same time, Zendaya was seen wearing what appeared to be a gold band, which only made the internet zoom in harder.
Then came the AI chaos. Fake wedding photos of the couple spread online, with Zendaya later saying people were actually fooled by them. While addressing the images on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, she said, “Babe, they’re AI. They’re not real.”
Still, the couple has kept the real details locked down, which tracks with how they have handled their relationship from the beginning. Zendaya explained in April that she understands public interest but still wants boundaries, saying, “I just feel like for me there is a level of a parasocial investment in my personal relationship, which I understand.” She added that she tries to “preserve things” for herself and Holland.
Holland also made it clear this is more than a headline. Speaking about Zendaya, he said, “Our business can present very stressful situations and it’s really nice to have a bedrock of a relationship that will stand the test of time.” He added, “So, for me, I found my person. She’s my best friend, and I’m the happiest I ever have been when I’m with her, but I also have never felt so supported and safe, ever. Period.”
After years of speculation, the plot twist is simple: the wedding happened, the AI photos were fake, and Tom only confirmed what the inner circle already knew.
