A judge has sided with Karruche Tran, granting her a five-year restraining order against her ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown.
Karrueche appeared in court today where she presented audio evidence and text messages that proved Chris Brown had been threatening her with violence if she didn’t return money and gifts he had given her during their relationship.
Karrueche took the stand on Thursday, telling the judge that Chris, who was not in court today, became aggressive after the breakup. She provided text messages, one in particular that read, “Bitch I will beat the s**t out of you” and “I promise you I will make your life hell.” She also says he wrote “Imma kill blood” under a photo of her and Michael B. Jordan on social media.
Karrueche further claims that Chris had beaten her in the past and that she fears for her safety if a permanent restraining order isn’t implemented. The judge agrees.
