Three Alaska Airlines Passengers Suing Airline & Boeing For $1 Billion Following Mid-Flight Door Blowout

New York City, New York – March 1, 2020: Alaska Airlines Boeing 737-900ER airplane at New York JFK airport (JFK) in New York.

Alaska Airlines has banned 14 passengers this week for refusing to comply with their mask mandate and for harassing staff members.

According to CNN, the airline said in a statement that the passengers were banned after they were “non-mask compliant, rowdy, argumentative and harassed our crew members” on a Thursday evening flight from Washington Dulles to Seattle.

“Their behavior was unacceptable,” the airline’s statement said. “We apologize to our other guests who were made uncomfortable on the flight.”

To date, Alaska Airlines revealed that they had banned 288 passengers for violating their company’s policy on masks since it went into effect. These 14 individuals now bring the total to 302.

Alaska Airlines also offered their gratitude to their employees saying, “We’re thankful and appreciative of the efforts of our dedicated crew members who are committed each day to keeping travel safe and respectful,” the airline said.
