Kyle Rittenhouse

It’s the audacity of some people. Kyle Rittenhouse boasts his white privilege and utter disrespect by partying at a Wisconsin bar while wearing a shirt that read “Free as F***.”

When Rittenhouse was 17, he killed two protesters and wounded a third during a protest on behalf of Jacob Blake, a black male shot and paralyzed by a white police officer. The teenager was filmed shooting two people and then walking away on foot when police arrived.

The now 18-year-old has been released from jail and is awaiting trial.

Apparently, he’s able to go to bars. He went to an Mt. Pleasant, Wisconsin bar earlier this week with his parents and had a beer. According to TMZ, Wisconsin law allows people under 21 to drink if they have a guardian, parent, or spouse of legal drinking age with them.

Someone at the bar thought Rittenhouse’s presence violated his bond agreement and called the local police. Authorities looked into it and confirmed he was at Pudgy’s Pub on Tuesday afternoon with a parent.

The local police let the Kenosha County District Attorney’s office know, and an investigation found he was not in violation of his bond agreement.

Rittenhouse was released from jail after posting a $2 million bond, mostly from donors—actor Ricky Schroder who praised the teen for his “heroic” actions.

This is America.

A photo of Kyle Rittenhouse out at a Racine County tavern wearing a "free as fuck" t-shirt were widely shared on social media Friday. Mt. Pleasant Police said that Rittenhouse was with a parent and that his presence in the bar did not violate conditions of his $2 million bond pic.twitter.com/m8NFFEyVM5
