The release of Drake’s new project, “ICEMAN” has already sparked major controversy.

Florida Artist and producer 1900Rugrat took to social media to directly accuse Drake of ripping off his work for the track “Little Birdie.”
In a heated video, 1900Rugrat broke down exactly how his music allegedly ended up in Drake’s hands, explaining that the OVO camp reached out to him while he was working on his debut project.
“When I made the intro of my first album about a year and a half ago, Drake was hitting me around that time and wanted to hear music. Or Drake’s producer,” 1900Rugrat shared. “So I sent 10 songs through. They were all finna be on my album. Because I didn’t want nobody steal shit ’cause I know how people move.”
According to 1900Rugrat, Drake’s team took a strong liking to the intro track. While Drake allegedly offered to collaborate and send back a verse in exchange for the song, the feature never materialized, and 1900Rugrat kept the track for his own album.
He thought the situation was over until he pressed play on ICEMAN and heard “Little Birdie.”
“Twin, that’s the only beat I’ve ever produced and sat there and produced,” 1900Rugrat said, realizing the similarities to his own work. “Don’t rip my shit and re-pitch it like that fam. That’s fried. That’s fried out. And fucked up twin.”
Neither Drake nor his production team has responded to the beat-jacking allegations.
