Deiondra Sanders spent Labor Day filling her Instagram Story with text message screenshots, laying out what she says has been a three day stretch of not being able to reach her 2 year old son Snow while he stays with his father, singer Jacquees, and his father’s family in Atlanta.
The first post went up roughly 18 hours before the rest of them and read more like a boundary than a callout. “Y’all can say what y’all want about me, but I’m a MOM,” she wrote, before saying that if Jacquees is not spending his parenting time with Snow himself, she would rather the toddler stay home with her. She said she needs to know where her son is and who he is with when he is not with his father, and that she wants to speak to him every day. The two of them are very attached, she added, “especially after what happened last time.”
The screenshots that followed hours later got specific. Deiondra Sanders said that every time Snow starts crying on their calls, somebody on the other end ends the call. She said it had happened three days in a row, and accused Jacquees of telling the toddler to stop crying because he does not have separation anxiety and then hanging up. She also asked for the boy’s iPad to be turned on and charged so she could reach him, noting in one message that the tablet was dead.
The threads she posted show the argument spiraling from there. Jacquees, saved in her phone as “Que,” told her his time is his time, that he had been letting her have her way and that was done, and that most co parents just call each other directly. When she said none of that had anything to do with her talking to her son while he is with them, he told her to call him instead. Then he wrote, “Your son can’t talk yet,” followed by, “When he can he will have a phone.” Snow turned 2 in August.
In another exchange, Deiondra Sanders wrote that a 2 year old does have separation anxiety from his mother and father, and that she is Snow’s safe space. Jacquees responded, “Stfu Deiondra I’m his other parent you literally play into that crying stuff you spose to reassure him make him tuff,” and added that Snow only starts crying once he sees her.
Other messages in the batch get uglier. He calls her “the worst baby mama a [expletive] could have,” tells her she acts like a child and does “way to [expletive] much,” and tells her to leave him alone and take it to someone else. Her reply: “I’m the worst baby momma cause I’m concerned about my child.”
She did not keep it between the two of them. Deiondra Sanders tagged Jacquees’ mother, Rosie Thompson, who posts as @19goldenrose, and shared screenshots from a group message that included both of them. In that thread, somebody sends her a photo of Snow sitting at a table with other children. She thanked them for it and said it is not the same as answering when she calls. “I need to hear from my son,” she wrote. “When I asked him he started crying I am not ok with that and u should understand as a parent.”
Most of that thread is her asking, over and over, for someone to have Snow call her and for the iPad to stay charged. Jacquees asked to be removed from the message, called the whole thing immature, and apologized for his language to another person in the chat. She fired back that what was immature was her son crying while nobody answered, then wrote, “I can show yall better than I can show yall. Watch this.” The posting spree started shortly after that.
In later messages she wrote that her heart and mind cannot be at ease, that she was about to cry seeing her son like that and now could not get ahold of him, and that they only respond once she calls them out publicly because they are worried about their image. Eventually a number not saved in her phone texted her back: “Hey Snow is sleep.”
A separate exchange moves the fight to travel. Deiondra Sanders asked why Jacquees did not ask her to bring Snow to him in Florida once he was no longer coming to get him. He told her she does not control what he does with his son, that Snow’s cousins and family are in Atlanta and keeping him around them is part of his parenting, and told her to tell her lawyer that. “That’s the way I grew up that’s the way my son will grow up raise him your way on that side,” he wrote, while adding that she will always have access to communicate. She answered that her issue was never the cousins, it was that the trip was supposed to be about him building a relationship with Snow.
The most recent thread she posted is time stamped Monday evening. “Shut yo dumb ass up,” Jacquees wrote. “He can’t save you dummy.” She asked if Snow was okay. He responded, “We all know you play slow.” She asked him to save her from being concerned about her child and to have someone call her. He wrote back, “Stfu.”
A quieter post came after all of it. She thanked him for showing their son on Instagram Live, said it still is not the same as speaking to Snow herself, and asked again why the iPad stays off. “I just wanna be able to speak to my child,” she wrote. “The same way me or my family answers every time you call.”
Her latest story, posted about half an hour later, aimed somewhere else entirely. She said a woman connected to Jacquees had been sliding into her DMs and she is not interested. “@jacquees tell your women stay out my dm’s,” she wrote. “I don’t care what u got going on. just let me have access to speak to my child once a day.”
None of this is new ground for them. Deiondra Sanders and Jacquees welcomed Snow in August 2024 and separated not long after. In December 2025, Jacquees posted and then deleted a message on X saying women should go to jail for keeping fathers away from their kids, and she responded with photos and video of Snow with his dad, writing that she is not bitter and is not keeping anyone from their son. In May 2026 she posted again, saying she never stopped Snow’s father from seeing him or being a father to him and asking to be left out of it. Her own father, Deion Sanders, has publicly advised her to disengage from anything that does not serve her.
Neither Jacquees nor Rosie Thompson has publicly addressed the latest round of posts.
