Enes Kanter Freedom says Chicago Sky guard Natasha Cloud yelled “she’s not gonna sleep with you” at him during the confrontation that got him removed from Sunday night’s game, a claim only he has made and that no other account has confirmed.

Freedom gave his version on Fox News. He said the whole thing started after he celebrated Indiana’s Sophie Cunningham hitting a three, and that a few possessions later Cloud began screaming and yelling at him and repeatedly cursing. He said he could not believe she was dropping F-bombs in front of all those kids, and that is when the “she’s not gonna sleep with you” line came, according to him.Late in the third quarter at Wintrust Arena, with the Fever leading, Cloud drove the lane and finished a tough one, drawing a timeout from Indiana coach Stephanie White.
Cloud chest bumped teammate Aicha Coulibaly, turned, and walked toward the baseline where Freedom was sitting, pointing and shouting as she went. Freedom stood up, spread his arms wide, and took steps toward the court. An official and security stepped in immediately. Sky players pulled Cloud back. The official signaled for Freedom to go, and team and arena security walked him out. Indiana won 113-90. The part Freedom’s Fox appearance does not get into is what he was wearing and why he was there. He sat baseline in a black T-shirt reading “WOMAN noun. adult human female,” styled like a dictionary entry.
Before tipoff he joined a small rally supporting Cunningham outside the arena. He has also written to the WNBA declaring himself eligible for the 2027 draft, saying he identifies as a woman, and has called himself a WNBA prospect on social media. Former NBA player Royce White has done something similar.For context on what he is protesting: there are no transgender players in the WNBA and none preparing to enter it, and the league’s collective bargaining agreement states that only players who are women are eligible. The WNBA has condemned what it called bad-faith actors dominating the conversation online and using these topics to demean or marginalize others, describing the draft declarations as publicity stunts it will not give oxygen to.
Freedom also had a rough time getting into the building. He posted video of a crowd confronting him outside, writing that they were getting attacked before the game, with security forming a barrier around him. One person flipped him off. Another yelled that he was sorry in the league. At halftime he posted a photo outside an arena restroom captioned that it was halftime, he needed to use the restroom, and rules are rules, tagging the WNBA.
After the ejection he wrote on X that he got kicked out of a WNBA game for supporting women, and told America to let that sink in.
Cloud has not given her account of what was said. She did not speak with media after the game and instead met with team and league security. Later she posted a statement addressed to every trans kid and person, saying they are part of her community and tribe, that they belong, they are loved, they are seen, they are perfect as they are, and that she will always protect them. Sky coach Tyler Marsh said he talked with the team and that Cloud did not want to feel like she was a distraction.
Asked whether he had a message for Freedom, Marsh said that if you come to a game you should probably come to enjoy the basketball, that it seems pretty simple, and that these players have earned that, adding that a former basketball player should understand that too. So the two accounts are not really two accounts. Freedom has described what he says Cloud yelled. Cloud has not disputed or confirmed any of it, and the audio has not surfaced.
