No Signs of Slowing Down! OnlyFans Reports Record-Breaking $6.6 Billion in Revenue for 2023

A new study has found that Miami is home to the most OnlyFans creators in the United States.

The research conducted by Madhouse Labs has revealed that Miami residents are more likely to start an OnlyFans account. This goes for those who have regular careers. One creator, Kira Shannon, told the Miami New Times she was a college student and working an office job when she began her OnlyFans career. Shannon’s story is not uncommon throughout the municipality.

The study found that Miami has the most OnlyFans creators per capita of any major U.S. city. There are roughly 1,110 accounts per 100,000 residents. Las Vegas came in second place, with an estimated 670 OF creators per capita. While some creators use OnlyFans to offer fitness videos and even cooking tutorials, the platform is widely known for its X-rated content. Miami’s party culture seems to be the perfect place for independent adult actors to thrive. In the early era of porn, Miami served as a hub for the growing industry. The famed 1972 X-rated movie “Deep Throat” was filmed in the city. Bang Bros has also used Miami as its headquarters and often shoots videos there. Also, given the skyrocketing housing market in Miami, there’s no surprise people are turning to alternative forms of income.

Since its launch in 2016, the site has grown to over 2.1 million creators, each of which can charge up to $49.99 monthly for their exclusive content, with the platform only taking 20% of the earnings. Creators also make extra money by receiving tips from their loyal fanbases. As a result of the thriving OF wave in South Florida, management companies geared toward growing OF creators’ fan bases have also emerged, a signal that this blossoming career path is here to stay.
