High Noon just dropped a bombshell of a recall that’s got consumers double-checking what’s in their cans. The popular seltzer brand is pulling two specific lots of its Beach Variety 12-packs after discovering that some of the included cans—while labeled as CELSIUS ASTRO VIBE Energy Drink, Sparkling Blue Razz Edition—are actually filled with vodka seltzer.

The issue? A packaging mishap. A supplier reportedly shipped the wrong set of cans, causing High Noon to fill CELSIUS-branded cans (with silver lids) with alcoholic product. That means some consumers expecting a caffeine jolt could be unknowingly sipping alcohol.

No injuries or illnesses have been reported, but the danger of unintentional alcohol consumption is very real—especially if a minor or someone avoiding alcohol reaches for a CELSIUS can without suspecting anything.

The recall affects specific lot codes printed on the CELSIUS can bottoms (L CCB 02JL25 2:55 to L CCB 02JL25 3:11) and the High Noon Beach Variety 12-pack boxes (L CCC 17JL25 14:00 to 23:59 and L CCC 18JL25 00:00 to 03:00).

These products were shipped to retailers in Florida, New York, Ohio, South Carolina, Virginia, and Wisconsin between July 21 and July 23, 2025. Even if you didn’t purchase a High Noon pack, be cautious: CELSIUS ASTRO VIBE cans with a silver lid and those specific codes could still be out there.

Consumers are urged to throw away affected cans and contact High Noon’s Consumer Relations at [email protected] for guidance and refunds.
This recall was initiated with the knowledge of both the FDA and the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau. So yes, it’s serious.
Before you crack open that CELSIUS can, make sure it’s bringing energy—not alcohol.
