Did Yeezy really jump over Jumpman? Was Kanye West’s “Facts” diss track to Nike a bit premature? We’ve already heard from Michael Jordan’s son, Marcus, who merely laughed off Kanye’s claims, but now the true facts are in.

According to Investors.com, over the holidays for the week ending in Dec. 26, 2015, both Nike and Under Armour sales were up. Adidas sales are down. This was in comparison to numbers from the same time last year. Dave Weiner  of SportScanInfo reports that Nike, who’s home to Lebron James, Kevin Durant and of course Jordan, was up 18.6%, Under Armour, who’s home to Steph Curry and Cam Newton, went up 98.9%, and adidas, who despite  signing James Harden and the awesome demand for Yeezy’s was down 7.7% since last year. Dave Weiner also says the top sellers for the specified time period were Air Jordan VIII “Chrome” and Nike Air Force 1.

Overall in 2015, without dropping any significantly new designs, Nike’s market capitalization was at $86.2 billion while adidas was at $17.1 billion.

When Lebron James, who just recently scored a lifetime endorsement with Nike, was asked about Kanye name dropping him in his “Facts” diss, Lebron answered, “I haven’t really listened to it. I heard about it but I haven’t listened to it.”  Lebron went on to say, “Obviously I’m going to side with Nike no matter who it is. It’s just, it’s family when you talk about Nike, and I’m always on their side no matter what the situation is, so. We don’t look upon nobody on our side, we just try to put the best athletes that we can out on the floor every night.”

When you’re set for life, you definitely side with whoever breads your butter.
