On Thursday, Tyrese checked himself in to Cedars-Sinai for chest pains and anxiety.
According to TMZ, the singer has been stressing out over the court case concerning his 10-year-old daughter. The court hearing went on for hours, in his ex-wife’s attempt to get a permanent restraining order against him.
Norma Gibson, has argued that Tyrese has physically abused their daughter, and now has someone following her. She told the judge that she fears Tyrese “at times,” since he has put hands on her in the past. However, Tyrese has denied all claims, saying Gibson is just bitter about him being remarried.
However, the entire situation seems to be taking a toll on the singer, all together. According to TMZ, the singer says Gibson’s restraining order is based on a story his daughter was coached into telling. The singer has filed docs, saying, the only evidence Gibson has against him is Shayla’s story, which makes him believe the 10-year-old was told to go against him. Although he hasn’t accused Gibson of coaching Shayla, he says it happened while in her care.
In addition, he says the only domestic incident that occurred between the former couple was when Gibson texted him, saying, she wanted to have his fingers cut off. However, Gibson admitted to sending the text.
