Akbar V Opens Up About Abuse, Postpartum Struggles, and Marriage Drama

Akbar V has gone public with her pain.

The rapper and reality star recently took to Instagram with a series of raw posts, screenshots, and videos where she revealed she’s been struggling with postpartum depression, abuse in her marriage, and her husband’s alleged infidelity.

The story quickly spread after Live Bitez reshared her clips, pointing out that Akbar accused her husband and his alleged side chick of jumping her.

Akbar began by describing years of physical abuse that she says she endured while trying to hold her marriage together.

“been getting my face punched in by my husband but turn around and ask for my money … and i was dumb i still tried to work it out and figure out the problem he gets mad when i find out he’s cheating do u see my face do you see what i been dealing with on top of that going through postpartum depression first time he beat me and put me in Jefferson hospital… i still stayed now he just did this on my birthday 08/22 … and he such a narcissist told me it was my fault cause the guy tried to help me when he slap me…”

She explained that even though she knew he was cheating, she tried to stay for the sake of the marriage. But instead of support, she says she was met with violence and blame.

Akbar admitted that she married for love, not money, but now sees how she was used.

“He’s not my son father nomore my son don’t have a father just me as mommy … money is not everything i didn’t marry for money i married cause i was in love but all i was in them people eyes was a come up … and i thank God he held my blessing back so nobody could enjoy it and they wasn’t a friend of Jesus Christ… man drug me threw the ground then told me he got a girl i said ok.”

She also revealed how deeply unhappy she’s been in the marriage, sharing that she hasn’t truly smiled in a long time.

“I haven’t smiled in a long time….. all this man do is verbally abuse me then said he don’t want to be in the marriage and said he have done so much in it i still tried to fight and stay in it… cause i want God to see me as a person who is trying ….Im not bout to let a man keep beating me and keeping being men to me when im being a wife and trying .. yes i went to internet in the past out of hurt but this time im not even bashing im telling the truth i know yall gonna laugh and bring up the Cardi b stuff but im just being honest i gotta get that same strength she got and walk away.”

Beyond the abuse, Akbar accused her husband of openly cheating with a married woman who is allegedly connected to her circle of friends. She even claimed that he was unfaithful during her pregnancy.

“He on here calling the girl mother ummi and the girl got a whole marriage and saying she leaving her husband for bean they looking up apartments but since my son been here he ain’t bout him anything man watch out ….Ummm so who voice is this in the back otp ….. and she is ©she_hasnaa friend that drives a white jeep she works in the healthcare facility…. Cause she had her badge on… mind u he slept with this girl in the camera unprotected the whole time i was pregnant and he still in the car with her but on FaceTime with a whole married woman who happens to be Kirah an ©she_hasnaa friend i been hold my tongue too long i siren coming.”

She followed up by saying the abuse even escalated when another woman was present.

“If i show yall my face when he jumped on me with another female yall would tell me to throw him in jail… Nothing he can say to me nomore and ion have anything to say he’s laid up with a woman right now while im here still being a wife cause ima do everything the right way …”

In a shocking twist, Akbar appeared to gain access to her husband’s Instagram account, using it to post more details about his alleged affairs and money issues.

“Got women he sleeps with laughing at me but turn around ask me for money and i finally start saying no l’m not helping no man who beats and cheats on me… i don’t care nomore everyone can laugh ima heal and move on … i wasted so much time on nothing fell in love with what ifs… i posted him in a way i shouldn’t i posted stuff that was personal i shouldn’t but i took accountability and apologized and tried to right my wrongs when i catch a man who lies and get mad at his wife for asking him bout cheating just know he’s a narcissist ¿ but be happy when im doing for him … im tired… nobody can’t use me nomore … oh whoever he with pay his phone bill it’s off he don’t got money for it … im dive im getting my numbers changed.”

She ended that message by writing:

“I been trying i been really trying….. and im all out of everything to give im changing my number and moving on with my life.”

In screenshots she posted, Akbar’s husband Bean allegedly admitted to attacking her with another woman because he was “mad and drunk.”

Though the situation has been devastating, Akbar made it clear she’s ready to move forward. She expressed that she is done being used, done being abused, and is finally taking steps to heal and leave the toxic relationship behind.
