Amy Luciani, the former Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star, has left fans in shock after taking to social media to deliver a harrowing account of her marriage and the loss of her child.
In a deeply emotional video that has since gone viral, Luciani broke down in tears as she detailed the alleged downward spiral of her husband, NBA legend Dwight Howard. The heart wrenching footage painted a picture of a household in crisis, marked by substance abuse and the devastating intervention of Child Protective Services.
“My husband put himself in a position that resulted in CPS being called to our house three times in less than two months, but three days ago they were called again and they left with our daughter,” Luciani revealed, her voice trembling with emotion. She didn’t hold back on the cause of the domestic turmoil, pointing directly to a severe drug addiction. “It’s all because of him. He has a cocaine problem and he needs help. This is what I’m losing my marriage to.” During the broadcast, she even went as far as showing a bag containing a white substance, pouring it out to emphasize the reality of what she has been dealing with behind closed doors.
The situation reportedly took a darker turn when authorities arrived at their home. Luciani alleged that Howard attempted to manipulate the investigation to save himself, even involving his own child in the deception.
“When they came, he asked me to lie for him and give him an alibi, and I said no. So he had his 12-year-old son lie to them and say it was me to cover for himself,” she claimed.
Luciani further alleged that her husband had been actively trying to frame her by planting items in her room and seizing her phone, but she noted that she had been secretly recording their interactions after overhearing his conversations with others.
Despite the gravity of the accusations and the pain of their daughter being removed from the home, Luciani concluded her message with a plea for compassion. “I still love my husband, and I’m asking for prayers for our family right now during this hard time.”
