The internet is in a tailspin after Amy Luciani’s tearful breakdown regarding her husband Dwight Howard, but Royce Reed is making it clear she’s not reaching for the tissues.
The Basketball Wives alum, who shares 17-year-old son Braylon with the former NBA star, took to social media to deliver a masterclass in “I told you so.” After years of being labeled “crazy” or “jealous” by fans and Luciani herself, Reed feels completely vindicated by the explosive allegations of cocaine addiction and child removals.
“It’s always been about the kids, fuck. It’s always been about the kids,” Reed stated in a fiery video. Addressing Luciani directly, she didn’t hold back on the irony: “Now you want to speak because he brought you into it. Girl, keep me blocked! Becuz imma CLOCK IT! GIRL SHUT UP!” Reed’s frustration stems from a decade-long battle where her claims were dismissed as antics. She reminded the public that her career was effectively sidelined by the legal warfare she faced while trying to protect her son. “You said I wanted him when it’s always been about the damn kids. I was just the fucking first that was collateral damage.”
As critics accused her of “gloating” during the family crisis, Royce returned to Instagram to clear up any confusion, emphasizing that she isn’t laughing at the pain but highlighting the systemic failure to protect the children.
“Who’s laughing? This is sad AF! These kids never should’ve been in his custody and she knew that! Look at the past!” Royce wrote, pointing out that Luciani previously “condoned and participated” in the environment she is now fleeing. “Crying now because she caught him lying on her is selfish AF! If it was about the kids she should’ve open her damn mouth long time ago instead of leaving them for weeks to fend for themselves while you went on trips overseas!”
Royce doubled down on her refusal to play the “bigger person” after years of reputational damage. “Yall can kiss my ass with that ‘you shouldn’t gloat’… BULLSHIT! No one is laughing. This is about CHILDREN!” she exclaimed. She concluded by noting how every woman in Howard’s life followed the same pattern of labeling her a liar until the reality hit home. “This girl, the last girl, the one before that called me a liar… laughed at my downfall and threw their dreams in my face as mine turned into nightmares. Now I’m expected to be the bigger person? I’m 5’2″..NAH! IM RECLAIMING MY TIME!”
