Anderson .Paak’s divorce case is seeing new movement as his estranged wife, Jae Lin, has filed updated requests involving custody and financial support.
According to legal documents filed earlier this week in Los Angeles and obtained by TMZ, Jae Lin is asking the court for primary physical custody of the couple’s two children, ages 9 and 13. She is requesting that both parents share legal custody, while the Grammy-winning artist would receive secondary physical custody along with visitation rights.
Jae Lin is also requesting spousal support as part of the divorce proceedings. In addition, she asked the court to terminate its ability to award spousal support to Anderson .Paak.
The filing lists “irreconcilable differences” as the reason the marriage is ending. The pair tied the knot in November 2010. In the new paperwork, Jae Lin listed the date of separation as “TBD,” the same designation Anderson .Paak used when he originally filed for divorce in 2024.
For nearly two years, the divorce proceedings appeared to move slowly through the court system without major developments. However, the latest filing comes as public interest in Anderson .Paak’s personal life has increased.
In recent weeks, the musician has been seen spending time with television host Jeannie Mai. Cameras recently spotted the TV host entering Andy’s, the jazz speakeasy restaurant and bar owned by Anderson .Paak in Hollywood.
When approached about the rumored relationship, Mai declined to comment. Observers inside the venue said the two appeared comfortable together, adding fuel to speculation about a possible romance.
