Baller Alert Radio: “The Culture Deserves It,” featuring your lifestyle specialist Kenny Burns with Ferrari Simmons and Su Solo, kicked off its 16th episode with a recap of the biggest topics from the past week.

The hosts opened with the New York Times interview in which Jay-Z talks about the stories behind Beyoncé’s “Lemonade” and his own album “4:44.” He also spoke about marriage, honesty and the difference between a trend and forever. The hosts agreed plenty of gems were dropped.

From there they moved to politics. They talked about reports of pests at the White House and the legal debate over President Trump’s tweet about Michael Flynn. Trump’s lawyer John Dowd said he drafted the tweet and argued that a president cannot obstruct justice, a claim some legal experts disputed. The hosts also discussed Trump’s endorsement of Roy Moore, who has denied allegations of sexual misconduct involving teenagers.

Burns later talked about the misconduct allegations that led NBC to fire Matt Lauer. The hosts noted that many men in entertainment have faced consequences, while the conversation about accountability in politics continues. They also touched on Britney Spears’ Christmas video and Tami Roman’s thoughts on the holidays.

Next, Rari read this week’s Baller Mail, where a woman asked how to tell her boyfriend about a past relationship with one of his friends. Su Solo says to leave the past in the past, while Burns sees it differently. What would you do?

Su Solo then shared this week’s Comment Creepin, featuring Issa Rae. Over the weekend, a fan asked her to put her hit show on Netflix, but the show airs on HBO, which has its own streaming app.

The episode closed with Kenfucious Says, where Burns shared his advice that holding on to your past can keep you from your future. Check out the full episode below:
