As Netflix prepares to increase the price of its monthly subscription package, the streaming giant has teamed up with some of our favs to seemingly soften the blow. Days after the media provider announced its decision to raise the price, Beyoncé released her highly anticipated Coachella documentary, “Homecoming.”

On the heels of Bey’s iconic release, Netflix’s ‘Strong Black Lead,’ which is led by a group of black executives at Netflix, announced that “for the remainder of the year, Netflix will have a rotation of throwback films. And I’m beyond elated to announce that the first film will be none other than B*A*P*S.”

Now, just one day ahead of the increase, Higher Ground Productions has unveiled its full list of forthcoming films in collaboration with the streaming giant and our forever President and First Lady, Barack and Michelle Obama.

According to NBC News, the list is comprised of both scripted and unscripted projects for a slew of different audiences, all of which are in various stages of development -set to be released over the next few years.

The seven projects from the Obamas’ production company will include “American Factory,” “Bloom,” “Listen to Your Vegetables and Eat Your Parents,” “The Fifth Risk,” “Crip Camp,” and a film adaptation of David W. Blight’s “Frederick Douglass: Prophet to Freedom.”

According to the publication, “American Factory” will explore the story of a Chinese billionaire who opens a factory and hires 2,000 blue-collar Americans, in post-industrial Ohio. The film will follow the challenges between high-tech China and working-class America. “Bloom” is a drama series set in post-WWII NYC and follows the struggles of women and people of color in the fashion world. “Listen to Your Vegetables & East Your Parents” will be a family program for preschoolers, as it tells the story about global foods.

“The Fifth Risk” is a nonfiction series based on the book “The Fish Risk: Undoing Democracy,” which will explore the importance of “unheralded work done by everyday heroes guiding our government and safeguarding our nation.” “Crip Camp” is a documentary about the revolution in the 1970s, in which teenagers with disabilities sparked a the disability rights movement.
