Streamer BenDaDonnn was arrested in College Station, Texas, on Sunday after a police officer tased him outside a bar following the Texas A&M football game. He was booked into Brazos County Jail on a charge of evading arrest or detention, and the moment was caught on video that has been spreading across X since early Sunday.

The College Station Police Department told TMZ that officers were working to clear patrons from the roadway in front of a bar when they came across a group that refused to follow their commands. Police say those commands were repeated and ignored. That is when the situation escalated.
According to the department, a man acting as BenDaDonnn’s security guard slapped an officer’s hands out of the way while the officer was trying to detain the streamer. The department’s public information officer says the officer then used a taser, calling it a “less-lethal tool,” while BenDaDonnn was trying to get away so that officers could gain compliance. As the officer moved to take him into custody, police say the security guard pushed the officer. Both men were arrested.
The man police identified as the security guard is Kenny Carter. He was charged with interference with public duties. Police also told local reporters that a gun was found on Carter when he was taken into custody. Police have not said whether Carter was licensed to carry it, and no additional charge tied to the weapon has been reported. BenDaDonnn’s bond has been reported at $7,000.
The BenDaDonnn arrest clip shows officers detaining him after he was tased, but it does not show everything that happened beforehand. The only account of what led up to it so far comes from the police department, and BenDaDonnn has not publicly responded to the charge or the department’s version of events.
He was in College Station for the game. He documented the trip on his Instagram Story, and the arrest came well after the game ended, in the Northgate area where bars line the streets after home games. Texas A&M was playing Arkansas that weekend. Crowds in that district routinely spill into the road after games, which is the situation police say they were trying to manage when the encounter started.
BenDaDonnn is a streamer and musical artist who has built a large following across TikTok, Instagram, and live streaming platforms. His content leans on high-energy moments, public appearances, and fan interactions, which is why a clip of him on the ground in handcuffs traveled so fast. Within hours, the video had been picked up by streaming accounts, hip hop blogs, and sports pages.
Evading arrest or detention is a Texas charge that applies when someone runs from or tries to get away from an officer who is lawfully trying to arrest or detain them. Interference with public duties is a lesser charge, and it covers someone who interrupts or gets in the way of an officer doing their job. Police are alleging both. Neither man has been convicted of anything, and the department’s account has not been tested in court.
The next thing to watch is whether BenDaDonnn or his team addresses the arrest, and whether any additional video appears showing the minutes before the taser was used. Bond has been set, and the case now moves through the Brazos County system.
