The legal fight between Lonzo Ball and his family’s former business partner has reportedly caught the attention of federal investigators.
Earlier this month, Lonzo filed a lawsuit against Alan, a co-founder of the family’s Big Baller Brand, just days after the family cut business ties over roughly $2 million in missing funds. According to initial court documents obtained by The Blast, the suit claims Alan set up a variety of corporate entities that gave him ownership and control, and used them to move large amounts of Ball family money to himself. These are claims in a lawsuit, and nothing has been proven in court.
Now, according to the Los Angeles Times, the FBI is looking into whether the family was defrauded of the missing money. The Ball family is reportedly cooperating with the investigation.
Alan’s current whereabouts were reported as unknown, and we did not see a public response from him to the allegations at the time of this report.
