After 8 months of dating, Us Weekly is reporting that rapper Big Sean and his pop singer girlfriend, Ariana Grande, have broken up.
Neither party have officially confirmed the split, and due to their track record with past relationships, it’s unlikely they will but there’s major speculation as to what may have caused the break up.
Some believe that Justin Bieber’s recent onstage antics with Grande may have rubbed Sean the wrong way. Others speculate that Ariana’s father wasn’t too happy about an Instagram post Sean put up where he captioned a photo, “I Give Her That D” (a line from his song). Ariana’s father quickly responded “That D better be for Detroit, Sean.” Oop!
According to Us Weekly, the two still love each other. “They both deeply care for each other and remain close friends,” their reps tell Us in a joint statement. “We kindly ask that the media respect their wish for privacy regarding this personal matter at this time.” Insiders close to the two say they very quietly and amicably ended their relationship a few weeks ago. “They made the decision to part ways because their conflicting touring schedules would keep them apart over the next year,” one source tells Us.
Ariana is 21, Sean 27. They are both on tour but I can’t see that causing a full blown break up. I guess we will find out more when more info is available.
