Blueface claims he made $1 million in just 90 days through Kick streaming, and he’s giving fellow rapper DDG credit for helping him get started. The “Thotiana” rapper revealed his reported earnings during a livestream on Sunday, November 1, explaining how DDG introduced him to the platform and helped him secure the equipment needed to launch his streaming career.

“I made a million dollars in ninety days off streaming,” Blueface said.He continued by expressing appreciation for his new career path and the person who helped make it possible.
“I appreciate streaming. I like streaming. Shout out to DDG for introducing me to streaming, getting me all this equipment for streaming. We’ll never forget where we came from. But I’m just kind of that guy, you know? Favor isn’t fair, so they say.”
For someone who built his name in music, Blueface is now claiming a serious payday outside the recording studio. And while the $1 million figure comes directly from the rapper, independent audience data confirms that his presence in the streaming world has grown significantly.
According to Streams Charts, Blueface experienced a staggering 5,225.8% increase in hours watched between the second and third quarters of 2026. His total jumped from approximately 102,000 hours watched in Q2 to 5.42 million hours in Q3.
Made to order and shipped to your door.
That growth placed him at No. 1 on the platform’s ranking of streamers with the highest percentage increase in watch time during the quarter.
Blueface also ranked ninth for total additional viewing hours, gaining 5,316,902 hours. Streaming superstar Kai Cenat led that category with more than 28.3 million additional hours watched.
The numbers show that Blueface streaming has become a major attraction, particularly among viewers interested in his everyday interactions rather than traditional gaming content. Nearly 96% of his third-quarter watch time came from the Just Chatting and IRL categories, which focus on conversations and real-life activities.
His reported financial success also puts another spotlight on DDG, who has repeatedly discussed the earning potential of livestreaming.
During ComplexCon in October 2025, DDG told DJ Akademiks that he had earned the equivalent of his recording contract in just one month through Twitch.
“For what I signed for, I made that in 30 days on Twitch,” DDG said.
He also made a bold comparison between the two entertainment industries, declaring that “streamers make more than rappers, a hundred percent.”
DDG has built an audience through both music and digital content, giving him firsthand experience with the different ways entertainers can generate income. His involvement in Blueface’s streaming career shows how established creators can introduce other artists to opportunities beyond traditional music releases and performances.
Kick’s payment structure also helps explain why entertainers are increasingly interested in livestreaming.
According to the platform’s official revenue policies, eligible creators receive 95% of subscription revenue. A viewer paying $5 for a monthly subscription generates $4.75 for the streamer, while the remaining 25 cents covers processing fees.
That same revenue split applies to KICKs, the platform’s virtual tipping currency, allowing audiences to financially support creators during broadcasts.
However, Blueface has not publicly provided a detailed breakdown showing how much of his reported $1 million came from subscriptions, tips, streaming agreements, or other revenue sources. His earnings claim has not been independently verified, and audience watch time alone cannot establish how much money a creator received.
Still, the verified growth in his audience provides a clearer picture of why he is enthusiastic about streaming.
For Blueface, the move gives him another way to connect with an audience that originally became familiar with him through records like “Thotiana.” Instead of depending exclusively on music releases, he can maintain a regular presence through live conversations and everyday content.
And DDG is getting his flowers for helping make that transition happen.
