Boosie’s 18-year-old son, Ivy Ray Hatch, was arrested in Louisiana on Thursday, October 22, on allegations involving armed robbery, aggravated battery, drug possession, and a firearm.
The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Hatch was taken into custody and booked on several offenses. Authorities listed five allegations connected to the arrest, including possession with intent to distribute drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm with drugs, aggravated battery, and armed robbery.
The arrest has raised questions about what allegedly happened, particularly because the accusations include both violent offenses and drug-related violations.
However, the sheriff’s office declined to provide details surrounding the incident that led to Hatch being arrested. Investigators have not publicly explained the circumstances of the alleged armed robbery or aggravated battery, including whether those accusations stem from the same incident.
The drug allegations are also significant, though authorities have not identified the substances allegedly involved or disclosed how much was recovered. Officials have not released information about the type of firearm, where it was allegedly discovered, or how it connects to the other accusations.
Despite the number and seriousness of the allegations, Hatch was reportedly released on bond following his arrest.
The arrest comes as Boosie has been spending time in New York City promoting his latest business ventures.
Earlier this week, TMZ caught up with the Baton Rouge rapper, who discussed launching his own entertainment platform, the Boosie Network. During the conversation, Boosie described the venture as the “new Netflix.”
Authorities have also not released additional details about any alleged victims, injuries, or the events that resulted in the armed robbery and aggravated battery accusations.
Back in May 2026, Boosie shared several photos and videos from Hatch’s high school graduation. Several of Boosie’s other children were present during the celebration.
