Meek Mill Calls Out DJ Akademiks for Mocking Islam During Rant, Questions If He's Really From Jamaica

Meek Mill and DJ Akademiks

Meek Mill is calling out DJ Akademiks once again, this time over the streamer’s disrespectful comments about Islam during a heated rant directed at fellow internet personality Sneako. The Philadelphia rapper reacted to a circulating livestream clip in which Akademiks mocked the Muslim faith, used a derogatory term to describe the religion, and appeared to ridicule Islamic expressions.

The clip shows Akademiks taking aim at Sneako, who converted to Islam in 2023, as their increasingly hostile relationship continues to unfold publicly. During the rant, Akademiks referred to Islam using the derogatory phrase “battyman” religion while mocking religious language associated with the faith.

DJ Akademiks CRASHES OUT on SNEAKO going on a RANT in which he DISRESPECTS ISLAM, calling it a “battyman” religion, mocking Islamic words, and INSULTING the people of Palestine ☪️🇵🇸

“Go to Palestine! Insha-eat a dick! Maybe it’s them Palestinian and Pakistanis that be watching gay porn. Is this like a battyman religion where you’re attracted to penis?”

— SNEAKO PRODUCTIONS (@sneakoprods) October 27, 2026

Meek was not letting those comments slide. Taking to social media, the Dream Chasers rapper questioned why someone with such a large audience would feel comfortable speaking about a religion that way.

“Remember when I said take this guy out your algorithm look how he speaking on a religion so comfortable with a large platform … he was grooming a child on stream… speaking on people kids .. why would anybody hang around a guy like this? Or deal with him to any level?”

Meek’s response went beyond the religious remarks. He also brought up Akademiks’ controversial past livestream interaction with a 15-year-old, during which the media personality asked sexually explicit questions despite being aware of the teenager’s age.

That incident sparked widespread backlash in January 2025, with Akademiks later apologizing for his conduct. However, Meek’s accusation of grooming has not been established as a legal finding, and the livestream incident does not independently prove that allegation.

Meek then switched gears, questioning Akademiks’ Jamaican background and his involvement in promoting artists from the island.

“Can we verify Akademiks is from Spanish town because he don’t promote any Jamaican artist music? Why is that? I have family in Spanish town let me know where this guy is really from!”

The comment brought another personal element into their ongoing dispute. Akademiks, whose real name is Livingston Allen, has publicly identified Spanish Town, Jamaica, as his birthplace. Meek’s post questioned that background while suggesting the streamer hasn’t done enough to spotlight Jamaican musicians.

There is no verified evidence contradicting Akademiks’ stated Jamaican birthplace. Likewise, Meek’s assertion about the streamer’s lack of promotion for Jamaican artists has not been independently substantiated.

The latest criticism comes as Akademiks and Sneako have been engaged in their own increasingly personal feud. On October 27, the two clashed during a livestream involving Adin Ross and Cuffem, exchanging insults and accusations. Sneako also challenged Akademiks to fight.

Their disagreements have involved religion, personal conduct, and accusations of hypocrisy. Akademiks has previously accused Sneako of judging other streamers’ lifestyles while failing to follow the standards he publicly promotes.

For Meek, however, the newest clip provided another reason to criticize a media personality he has repeatedly urged people to stop supporting.

The tension between Meek Mill and DJ Akademiks stretches back nearly a decade. Their issues reportedly began around 2017, when Akademiks claimed Meek was upset about how he covered the rapper and his “Wins & Losses” album.

By 2020, their disagreement had developed into a much more public feud, with Meek accusing Akademiks of amplifying dangerous conflicts within hip-hop. Akademiks pushed back against those accusations, and their exchanges became increasingly hostile.

That same year, Meek used language Akademiks interpreted as threatening, prompting the streamer to say he had contacted police. The two later participated in a Clubhouse conversation involving 21 Savage, who attempted to help resolve their differences.

The temporary peace didn’t hold.

Their feud intensified again in February 2024 when Akademiks discussed online speculation connecting Meek to allegations surrounding Sean “Diddy” Combs. Meek denied the implications and accused Akademiks of using his platform to damage his reputation. The argument escalated into threats of an in-person confrontation and another round of social media insults.

In May 2024, Akademiks even claimed responsibility for damaging Meek’s music career, insisting that their personal problems had influenced his attitude toward the rapper.

More recently, in September 2026, Meek renewed his campaign against Akademiks following Lil Durk’s acquittal in a federal murder-for-hire case. Meek accused the streamer of exploiting rap conflicts for attention and encouraged people to mute or block his accounts.

Akademiks responded to that criticism and publicly displayed what appeared to be missed calls from Meek, continuing their familiar pattern of trading accusations online.

Now, with Islam and Sneako at the center of the latest exchange, Meek is again challenging both Akademiks’ conduct and the influence he holds through his livestream platform.
