Laura Govan says she never slept with Shaquille O’Neal, and her number one reason is his feet.
Laura sat down with Loop 21 ahead of the Basketball Wives LA premiere and gave everybody a preview of what she’s bringing to the show. The interview was full of ghetto antics and profanity, and the drama was clearly the point.
The Shaq rumors have followed Laura since November 2009. That’s when TheYBF posted screenshots of emails supposedly between her and Shaq. Laura has always said the emails were fake. When Loop 21 asked whether she joined the show to clear up the cheating talk, she said she wasn’t there to clear up [expletive].
Then she was asked straight up if she slept with Shaq. Laura Govan did not hold back. “Hell no! Have you seen his feet? How you gon’ sleep with somebody who has feet like that?” She added that she’s seen him in sandals, as if that settled it.
She kept going. Laura said she loves Shaquille to death but would never get down with him. She said that knowing him is exactly what makes it so hard to picture. She also said she can’t deny the rumor with a straight face because it’s so hilarious to her. According to Laura, whenever they’re around each other they just have a good time, and they’re like brother and sister.
Let’s make sure we have this right. Laura won’t sleep with Shaq because his feet are ugly and because she knows him. So she sleeps with strangers? Her words, not ours.
Laura is engaged to Gilbert Arenas, so these Shaq questions aren’t going anywhere once the cameras start rolling. If this interview is any preview, Basketball Wives LA is about to be loud.
