Soundstorm 2025 had its moment the second Cardi B touched the main stage in Riyadh.
Making her Saudi Arabia debut, Cardi closed out the final night with a performance that shifted the entire energy of the festival. The Banban desert filled fast, and by the time she began, it was clear the crowd was there for her.
She ran through records the crowd already knew by heart, including “I Like It,” “Bartier Cardi,” “Press,” and “No Limit,” then performed her newer music from Am I the Drama?, performing “Pretty & Petty” without losing momentum.
Cardi then stepped off the stage to greet fans up close. She also made space for respect and acknowledgment. Cardi opened with “As-salamu alaykum!” and kept checking in with the audience by asking, “Saudi Arabia, how we doing tonight?”
Throughout the set, she thanked the crowd and called the moment “mashallah,” making it clear she understood the significance of where she was.
By the end of the night, many attendees were already calling it the strongest set of the weekend. Around 30,000 people filled the grounds on the final night, and Cardi’s set pulled one of the largest crowds of the festival.
Even with more than 200 artists on the lineup, including Post Malone, Halsey, and Davido, her debut stood out.
Cardi delivered a high energy yet respectful set that aligned with local expectations while staying true to who she is.
