Police in Midtown Miami had Celina Powell arrested Thursday evening after surrounding her bubblegum pink Lamborghini Urus outside a Target, according to TMZ, which obtained video of the stop. The footage shows multiple squad cars pulled up around the truck near the store around 5:40 PM, the driver’s door swinging open, and Celina stepping out and walking toward the front of the vehicle while officers stayed close.
She told TMZ herself that the arrest was for driving with a suspended license. She also said she has picked up roughly 10 tickets or citations for that same offense already, and that the pile up is exactly why officers decided to take her in this time instead of writing her another piece of paper and sending her on her way.
That number is the whole story. A suspended license stop is usually a citation and a tow. Getting Celina Powell arrested over it means the system had already run out of patience, and her own account lines up with what has been sitting in Florida court records since last year.
Back in March, TMZ reported that Celina had multiple active bench warrants in Florida tied to traffic cases. A bench warrant is what a judge issues when you are ordered to appear in court and simply do not show up. It is not about the original offense. It is about ignoring the judge. According to court documents TMZ reviewed at the time, Celina was tied to at least two separate cases, one for driving without a valid license and another for a window tint violation, and she failed to appear for a scheduled court date on December 10, 2025. One of those cases produced a warrant with a $1,000 bond attached.
The filings also showed the cases were flagged as delinquent and reported to the DMV, which is what caused her license to get suspended in the first place. So the missed court date created the suspension, the suspension created the new stops, and the new stops kept stacking until Thursday. A defense attorney did appear on her behalf after that and entered a not guilty plea, so the earlier cases were still open when this happened.
Miami is also not new territory for this particular charge. Back in March 2021, Celina was pulled over in Miami after officers said she made a right turn without signaling. She was let off with a warning at first, then taken to jail once they ran her information and found she was driving on a suspended license. She confirmed it herself in a tweet a few hours later, joking that she had gone to jail again.
Her record goes deeper than traffic court. In 2022 she was sentenced to two years in a Colorado state prison for violating probation stemming from a 2015 conviction, when prosecutors said she drove a getaway car in a theft ring. She was arrested that May after missing a court date, which is a pattern that keeps showing up in her file, and she became eligible for parole that December.
Celina built her name in the late 2010s by going on YouTube and podcasts, including repeated appearances on No Jumper, to detail alleged encounters with a long list of rappers. Several of those men and the people around them publicly disputed her claims, and Cardi B once posted old headlines in which Celina appeared to admit she had lied about a pregnancy claim involving Offset. She has spent the years since as an internet fixture, and more recently has been in headlines for a legal fight of a different kind, sending a cease and desist letter in February after streamer Deshae Frost accused her on a livestream.
