Charleston White Recounts The Tense Reality Of His Run-In With Young Thug

If you have been keeping up with the latest internet drama, you know that Charleston White and Young Thug had a run in that set social media on fire back in March.

During a recent sit-down with DJ Vlad, White pulled back the curtain on the whole situation. While they had actually worked together in the past on community outreach programs, like a Thanksgiving turkey giveaway in Atlanta, things clearly soured by the time they crossed paths at Druski’s Coulda Been Love reunion.

The Tension Behind The Scenes

White admits he was largely in the dark about why things got so hostile. He points to his association with Kenneth Copeland Smith, known as Woody, a key figure in the YSL RICO case, as the primary reason for the friction.

According to White, his willingness to engage with Woody didn’t sit well with the Atlanta camp. He also noted that his outspoken commentary on Gunna probably didn’t help his standing with Thugger either. White claimed he honestly didn’t realize the level of animosity being directed his way until he found himself face-to-face with the rapper’s crew.
