Cher and Alexander “AE” Edwards have allegedly called it quits and it appears the two were never even engaged.
Sources told TMZ that the couple split weeks ago, although it is unknown what caused the breakup or who made the initial decision to do so.
According to the source, despite the massive diamond ring, the two were never even engaged. The source claims that the two played into the speculation that it was an engagement ring.
In January, Cher told paparazzi that she and AE were engaged, but it was all clearly a joke.
It was previously reported that the two met last year during Paris Fashion Week, and in November, they were spotted holding hands in Hollywood.
