Liziane, the model who says Chris Brown hit her at a Las Vegas hotel party, has filed a civil lawsuit after her criminal complaint did not move forward.
According to TMZ, authorities did not pursue criminal charges, and Liziane is now suing Brown for battery and theft. She says that during a New Year’s Day gathering hosted by Brown at the Palms Hotel and Casino, she was attacked over her cell phone. She claims that either Brown or someone in his group hit her in the face, arm or hands, and that someone took her phone. She also shared a photo of her eye on social media.
Liziane is also suing for defamation over comments she says Brown made about her after the incident. Brown’s side has denied her account. His camp has said he did not assault her, and Brown has said he did not know who she was. These are allegations in a lawsuit and none have been proven.
