The quiet homicide investigation involving D4vd just heated up once again with the arrest of his close associate.
According to TMZ, Neo Langston, a well-known streamer and friend of the singer, was booked into jail after failing to appear in court as a witness. Officials in Montana told the outlet that Langston was arrested on a warrant and is currently being held without bond.
Langston’s arrest comes as a Los Angeles County grand jury continues to hear testimony connected to the death of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez. Several witnesses have already appeared before the panel, including D4vd’s former tour manager. Prosecutors are reportedly pushing for an indictment and believe the singer was involved in the teen’s death. Late last month, TMZ reported that D4vd, born David Anthony Burke, is “likely” to face murder charges in the case.
The investigation traces back to September 2024, when a Tesla owned by the singer was impounded after being parked illegally in a Hollywood Hills neighborhood. The vehicle was taken to a Hollywood tow yard, where employees later reported a foul odor coming from the car on September 8. Los Angeles police officers responded and discovered Rivas Hernandez’s dismembered body inside.
The teenager had been reported missing months earlier, on April 5, 2024, from Lake Elsinore, roughly 75 miles from Hollywood.
The grand jury process is ongoing, with additional witnesses expected to testify through February 2026.
