Authorities in Los Angeles have confirmed that the body discovered inside the front trunk of a Tesla registered to singer D4vd belongs to a teenage girl. While her exact identity has been determined, police are holding back her name until her family is officially notified.
The disturbing discovery was made at a Hollywood tow yard on September 8th, after workers complained about a strong odor coming from the vehicle. The Tesla had been abandoned in the Hollywood Hills before being towed.
Investigators described the girl as around 14 or 15 years old, standing 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighing 71 pounds. She had wavy black hair, a tattoo reading “Shhh…” on her right index finger, and was dressed in a tube top, black leggings, a metal bracelet shaped like a “W,” and a stud earring.
The car is registered to David Burke, known as singer D4vd, and authorities confirmed it was never reported stolen. Law enforcement officials say D4vd is fully cooperating with the investigation.
Forensic teams are still working to determine how and when the girl died. Her body was reportedly found stuffed inside a bag, leading investigators to treat this case as a possible homicide.
The LAPD continues to seek tips from the public as they piece together what happened.
