A routine drive reportedly turned into a frustrating situation for DDG after the streamer claimed he became the victim of a hit-and-run involving his Rolls-Royce Cullinan.
During a livestream with fellow creator Derek King on May 30, DDG recounted an incident that he said happened earlier in the day while he was driving. According to the entertainer, another vehicle suddenly collided with his SUV before leaving the scene.
“I’m driving down the street. I’m in my little lane and shit, driving regularly,” DDG explained. “I’m going straight and, out of nowhere, a n***a hit my car, bruh.”
The content creator said the driver did not stop to exchange information or inspect the damage. Instead, DDG claimed the individual immediately sped away.
“The n***a kept going and did the dash,” he said while recalling the encounter. “He had his blinkers on, acting like he was going to turn into the gas station.”
DDG further alleged that after he sounded his horn, the driver accelerated onto the highway rather than pulling over.
The streamer said he acted quickly by documenting the vehicle involved and contacting law enforcement. “I took a picture of his license plate, and I snitched on him,” DDG said. “Called the police and everything.”
The incident quickly sparked reactions online, with fans expressing disbelief that someone would allegedly flee after colliding with a vehicle as recognizable as a Rolls-Royce Cullinan, a luxury SUV often associated with six-figure price tags.
The claim arrives during another eventful period for DDG, who recently discussed the financial realities of touring. Earlier this month, he revealed that his Blame the Chat tour reportedly resulted in losses between $100,000 and $200,000 due to travel expenses, staffing costs, and production spending.
As of now, no additional details regarding the alleged hit-and-run investigation have been publicly released. DDG maintains that he provided authorities with the vehicle’s license plate information and hopes the situation will be resolved.
DDG says he was involved in a Hit & Run today while he was driving his brand new Rolls-Royce Cullinan worth $600k 😳😬
