Domino’s offers customers $3 not to select delivery when ordering online to stay above staff shortages. The promotion begins Monday, January 31, and will run into May. Instead of customers tipping delivery employees, Domino’s is tipping you!

The labor shortage has caused many industries to scale spending back. And Domino’s is just the latest company to cut costs. Inflation has caused the company to budget better. They are decreasing the number of chicken wings you receive. Instead of the 10-wing-deal, customers receive eight chicken wings.

The online exclusive $3 deal will cause fewer employees to answer the phones. Likewise, the promotion will alleviate the stress of short-staffed retailers sending out employees, especially before the Super Bowl.

CNN reports, “Domino’s said in a statement that the carryout credit can be combined with other offers ‘making for a tasty deal.'” The chain has no worries but believes the deal will attract new customers since pizza consumers want the best deals anyway.
