Donald Trump Asking For $342K From Stormy Daniels For Legal Fees

Donald Trump is seeking $342,000 in lawyers fees from adult film actress Stormy Daniels after her defamation lawsuit was dismissed by a federal judge.

Trump filed documents in Los Angeles Monday  stating that Daniels “filed this action, not because it had any merit, but instead for the ulterior purposes of raising her media profile, engaging in political attacks against the president by herself and her attorney, who has appeared on more than 150 national television news interviews attacking the President and now is exploring a run for the presidency himself in 2020.”

In October, Judge S. James Otero dismissed Daniels’ case, which was based on an April tweet from Trump saying that the sketch of a man she said threatened her to keep quiet about their alleged affair was a “con job.”

Trump not only called the man “nonexistent,” he claimed Daniels was playing the “fake news media for fools.”

“To allow the complaint to go forward and to have one consider this to be defamatory in the context it was made would have a chilling effect,” the judge said.

After the dismissal, Trump went on Twitter to degrade both Daniels and Daniels’ attorney, Michael Avenatti.

“Great, now I can go after Horseface and her 3rd rate lawyer in the Great State of Texas. She will confirm the letter she signed! She knows nothing about me, a total con!”

Daniels’ initial lawsuit was filed against Trump and his trusted lawyer, Michael Cohen, who allegedly negotiated an agreement preventing the porn star from speaking openly about her supposed 2006 affair with the president.
