Franchón Crews-Dezurn is calling Claressa Shields a clown after DMs surfaced showing the undisputed heavyweight champion calling her a cloutchaser in messages to Chrisean Rock.
“@Claressashields you a clown and I ain’t never been a clout chaser,” Franchón wrote on X. “I actually support women in boxing like I supported your goofy [expletive]. If u had an issue u should said it to me bullying Chrisean when she obviously isn’t well versed in the sport is trashy and classless… smh”
It all started when Claressa sent Chrisean a clip of her hanging with Franchón, then followed it up with three messages. “This [expletive] ain’t never beat me in no fight,” she wrote. “She’s a [expletive] cloutchaser. And you know I’m undefeated.”
Chrisean did not clap back. She did not pick a side. She answered with respect for the sport. “I understand it’s just talk between opponents. But I don’t understand it though we literally sign paperwork acknowledging that we could die or suffer permanent brain damage in that ring, so I respect every fighter and every fight at the highest level,” she wrote. “Whether it’s four rounds or twelve, stepping into that ring is real. I respect you for that type of stuff deep.” She added, “I don’t be knowing nothing about boxing tbh or people that’s in the sport I respect when I’m informed about them.”
On her Kick livestream, Chrisean went further. She questioned why Claressa wanted to call and talk to her about her ex when she has never spoken on Claressa and her relationship with Papoose. Chrisean explained that she is still learning the boxing world and the only names she really knows are Gervonta Davis, Manny Pacquiao, and Floyd Mayweather. She said she respects anyone who signs up to risk their life in the ring, but the online chatter and the outreach felt strange, especially after she had just met and connected with Franchón Crews-Dezurn.
When one X user pointed out that nobody had even mentioned Claressa in the clip, Franchón explained how the conversation came up. “I did say her name to give reference as I was the last person that fought CS and this was my 1st time meeting Chrisean in person & in regular clothes,” she wrote. She added that it was Chrisean’s first pro fight and her mind was everywhere, so once she realized that, she simply wished Chrisean well so she could focus.
The ex Chrisean mentioned is Blueface. When Claressa and Chrisean linked up for a training session in July, Claressa hinted that Chrisean should keep her distance from “you know who” at public events, refusing to say his name and dropping a color as a clue until Chrisean caught on. The two had been on good terms since April, when Chrisean won her boxing debut in Philadelphia and Claressa publicly congratulated her on the hard work.
The bad blood between Claressa and Franchón Crews-Dezurn runs much deeper. They came up as amateur rivals, then made their pro debuts against each other on November 19, 2016, in Las Vegas, where Claressa won a four round unanimous decision. They ran it back in February 2026 at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, and Claressa defended her undisputed heavyweight crown with a lopsided decision, taking all three scorecards 100 to 90. A brawl broke out at the weigh in the day before, though the two embraced in the ring once the final bell rang. Claressa has never lost as a pro and remains unbeaten at 19 wins and no losses.
