First it was a man posing as Detroit Lions cornerback Chris Houston. Now Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Vince Young says someone has been pretending to be him.
Young has identified the man as Stephan, from Maryland. According to Young, the imposter has been making hospital visits to children while claiming to be the Eagles QB, and has been asking women for thousands of dollars that he says will go to the Vince Young Foundation. Reports say he has been at it for several months and is a registered sex offender.
Young spoke out about it on camera, warning people that the man is not him and that the money isn’t going to his foundation.
Pretending to be a pro athlete to get into clubs is one thing. Using a charity and sick kids to do it is a whole other level. Baller Alert first warned readers about this man last year, and it looks like he hasn’t stopped.
If anyone reaches out claiming to be Vince Young or asking for donations in his name, verify it through his official foundation before you hand over a dime.
