A court ordered DNA test reportedly shows that rapper Flo Rida is the father of a model’s young son, according to TMZ. The outlet reported on September 6, 2014 that the test came back with a 99.99999999 percent probability of paternity, citing legal documents it obtained.
The case goes back to 2013, when the child’s mother, a model named Natasha, took Flo Rida to court while she was pregnant. TMZ reported at the time that she was seeking what is known as good fortune support, a type of child support meant to reflect the lifestyle of a wealthy parent, to help cover prenatal care and other birth related costs. She also reportedly asked the court for support covering medical insurance, daycare, private school and similar expenses.
According to TMZ, Flo Rida had earlier disputed that he was the father. The outlet also reported that he acknowledged a past relationship with Natasha while saying she was not the only person in his life at the time. Those are his reported claims, and Natasha’s side says the test settles the question. Her attorney, Ray Rafool, told TMZ the result was not a surprise to her and that they were pleased with it.
As of the TMZ report, no judge had formally ruled that Flo Rida is the father or set a support amount. TMZ said it contacted his representative and had not heard back. Baller Alert will pass along any response from Flo Rida or any ruling from the court.
