Former Lakers player Jeremy Tyler is asking a court for protection. TMZ Sports reported on October 24, 2014 that the 23 year old filed court documents in Los Angeles seeking a restraining order against Sukey, the mother of his young son.
In the filing, Jeremy claims that on October 18 Sukey showed up at his mother’s house and demanded to see their 10 month old son. He says that when he brought the baby outside she swung at him and, in his words, “missed me and hit our son.” He also claims she kicked his sister, who is nine months pregnant, in the stomach.
Jeremy says he fears for his safety and worries Sukey could take their child to the U.K. According to the report, a judge granted a temporary restraining order that also bars her from leaving the country with the child.
These are Jeremy’s allegations from his own court filing, and no response from Sukey had been reported at the time of this post. Jeremy was recently released by the Lakers and, per TMZ Sports, was expected to sign a deal to play in China.
