Former West Virginia running back Justin Crawford has been arrested and charged with felony offenses involving a child, according to local reporting.
The Atlanta Journal Constitution reported, citing Muscogee County jail records, that police in Columbus, Georgia arrested the 23 year old on Saturday. The records list charges that include enticing a child for indecent purposes. TMZ was among the outlets that also reported on the arrest.
Crawford remains in the Muscogee County jail without bond, according to those records. The Atlanta Legends suspended him after the arrest, The Associated Press reported.
These charges are allegations, and Crawford has not been convicted of anything. Baller Alert did not find a public statement from Crawford or an attorney at the time of this report. Out of respect for the child involved, we are not sharing any details about the alleged victim.
