The legacy continues as Yosohn, famously known as Baby Crash, stepped into the booth and onto the playground for his official debut.
To celebrate his 8th birthday, the son of Chicago rapper G Herbo and influencer Ari Fletcher released his first performance video for the single “Hit The Road,” and it is already a viral sensation.
Filmed for the “From The Block” series but reimagined as “From The Playground,” the visual features Yosohn at playground with a microphone. The 8-year-old showed off serious confidence and natural rhythm, proving the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. G Herbo played the ultimate hype man, appearing throughout the video on the swings and slides while supporting his son’s big moment.
“Math don’t add I just dropped another fit, That’s a light three rat.” He rapped, “Phone on D&D, I don’t answer no fake, If they try to ride the wave, They gon’ drown in the wake.”
The young star also made it clear he isn’t bothered by the noise, spitting, “I done got no time for drama, I got plans and a walk, Going goofs on that hater, That’s my favorite default.” He even touched on his new lifestyle, saying, “She was bad, now she basic, Have to switch up the route, Now it’s full with VIP, When I step out of my house.” The entire track is held together by the catchy hook: “I got paper stacks, Never come back, Go hit the road, Jack.”
G Herbo joined in on the fun with a verse that highlights the life he has provided for his children, rapping, “Only seven years old, But he got grown man swag, Pickle rock and diamond chains, In me rocking Birkin bags, I grew up with roaches rats, Now my kids be all in Saks, Everything I talk is facts, Birthday parties, hundred racks.”
The video has already racked up hundreds of thousands of views, with fans praising the wholesome father-son bond. Whether Yosohn is the next child superstar or just having fun for his birthday, “Hit The Road” is a major moment for the young Baby Crash.
