While on the Baller Alert Podcast, Lola Monroe told us that she is cooking up something top secret. Now, we know exactly what it is! The rapper will be joining the cast of “The Platinum Life,” E!’s new reality show set to premiere this Fall.
“The Platinum Life” follows an elite group of music’s most savvy women and their significant others, giving us a first-hand look into their first-class lifestyles. We will be introduced to Crystal Smith (wife of Ne-Yo), La’Myia Good (wife of Eric Bellinger), Shantel Jackson (girlfriend of Nelly), Lola Monroe (girlfriend of King Los), Asiah Azante (wife of Kid Ink), Nazanin Mandi (fiancee to Miguel) and newly single recording artist Alycia Bellamy.
These ladies don’t seem like the catty type so I don’t expect to see much fighting between them. What you CAN expect to see is a handful of women trying to navigate the crazy L.A. lifestyle with a man in the music industry. That means watching them fight it’s fighting for the spotlight in a male dominated game while simultaneously being on the lookout for groupies trying to get the attention of their men. These women learn that in the music world, the only way to navigate it successfully is with strength and confidence.
