Gloria Govan is taking a business dispute to court. According to legal documents obtained by The Blast, the former Basketball Wives star filed a lawsuit against a man named Duangduan over a commercial property deal.
Gloria accuses him of misleading her and her fiance. The Blast reports that the couple rented a commercial space from him to start a new business, and that after about six months of paying rent and putting money into the company, they learned he was allegedly not in a position to sublease the space.
The amount is unclear, but Gloria is reportedly seeking to be reimbursed. The allegations come from her lawsuit and have not been proven in court. Duangduan had not responded to the claims in anything we saw reported.
The filing comes just weeks after a custody case involving Gloria and her ex Matt Barnes was reportedly resolved. We will keep you posted on this one.
