Papoose is taking the Remy Ma divorce to Instagram again, posting a year’s worth of texts with his lawyer that he says prove he offered her all three of their properties in exchange for visitation with their daughter.
The six-slide carousel, set to his diss track “Jezebel,” landed the same day Remy released her new EP, “Alimony.” In the caption, Papoose told his followers to pay close attention to the dates.
The first text is from January 11. Messaging a contact saved as “Jersey Divorce Attorney,” Papoose wrote, “Hey, I’ve decided to let her keep all of the properties. All I want is visitation with my,” with the next word blacked out, followed by “I just want her out of my life. And divorce finalized.”
A week later, he asked if he could speak to the judge directly. He told his lawyer he wanted the court to know that half of the three properties are legally his, and that he was handing them over in exchange for Remy moving on with her life and leaving him alone. He also wrote that she had publicly lied about him and tried to destroy his livelihood. His lawyer shut the idea down, explaining he couldn’t talk to the judge about negotiations, but that if Remy accepted the offer, they could explain his reasons on the record.
On January 21, the two had a Zoom court date. That morning, his lawyer texted that he planned to tell the judge he had sent an offer “granting what Mrs Mackie requested,” so the case should be settled. Papoose asked if they could force her to sign within a set time frame and suggested 24 hours.
According to Papoose’s caption, the judge ordered Remy and her attorney to respond to the offer by the following Monday. They didn’t. His lawyer later texted that Remy never replied about the offer but did send an email about when Papoose could come pick up his belongings. By February 10, there was still no word. When Papoose asked whether ignoring the judge’s deadline was a violation, his lawyer answered, “Yes it is but I have to follow protocol.”
The response finally came in mid-February, and Papoose called it insane. His lawyer’s text teased it: “Wait til you see what she wrote. We will have to counter.”
That’s when Papoose flipped. “The previous deal is now off the table,” he wrote. “I’m gonna maintain my half in all properties. And I’m requesting to be paid for all the music i wrote for her.” He closed the thread with, “I’ve had enough of her and a fight is inevitable. I tried to be nice.”
The caption went further. Papoose claimed Remy skipped an in-person court date, that she violated their marriage while he waited for her to stop, and even went to therapy with her, and that she has tried to get back with him numerous times since he moved on. He also had a message for her fans: keep supporting her, but use that energy to help her move on instead of spreading what he called false narratives.
The Remy Ma divorce has played out in public since Papoose filed in May 2025. At the time, Remy said she wanted nothing from him, including child support. The fight moved to wax this month when Papoose dropped “Jezebel” on September 11, claiming he secretly wrote her raps.
Remy’s answer is “Alimony,” a six-track project featuring Keke Wyatt, Tinkand ROE. In her caption announcing it, she wrote that she will never again play small to make a man feel big, and made a point of saying she’s still penning her own rhymes. The EP arrived with the video for “Why I Get Married?” featuring Keke Wyatt.
