The Love and Hip Hop Hollywood cast was in New York filming the reunion special this week when news broke that Yung Berg had been arrested. According to TMZ, he was arrested on a charge of obstruction of breathing following an alleged altercation with Masika. Both are cast members on the show. The charge is an allegation and Berg’s side of the story had not been shared at the time of this post.
Cast member Hazel E spoke to VH1 about the news. She said she read about the allegations online and that she could not get much sleep thinking about Berg being in jail. Hazel also said that at the reunion Berg and Masika seemed very close, and that she was looking forward to seeing how things played out. Her full comments are in the VH1 video below.
Hazel has had public tension with both Berg and Masika this season, and her reaction shows how much feelings are running high among the cast. Whatever the history, domestic violence allegations are serious, and everyone involved deserves to be treated fairly until the facts are known.
