The Wayans brothers are done keeping quiet about Aries Spears, and during a recent conversation, Shawn Wayans and Marlon Wayans let their frustrations fly with zero filter.

While discussing Spears during The Morning Hustle, Shawn immediately dismissed the comedian before escalating things even further. “Oh, yeah, he’s an idiot,” Shawn said before adding, “And a b**h.”
The conversation quickly turned toward Spears allegedly criticizing the family despite previously trying to work with them behind the scenes. According to Shawn, the tension goes back years, but he initially chose not to respond publicly because he simply did not care enough to entertain it.
Still, once the topic resurfaced, Shawn opened the floodgates.
“We keep our mouths shut. I didn’t go back at him because I didn’t care,” Shawn explained. “But now that you bring it up, he’s a bitch for that because he was begging to get inside of one of our movies or our TV show.”
Shawn also claimed he personally gave Spears an opportunity in animation work. “I hooked him up. I put him on a cartoon that we did called ‘The Blue Crew.’ And I realized how crazy he was. He was a crazy man.”
Meanwhile, Marlon focused less on insults and more on what he viewed as Spears repeatedly discussing his business and finances publicly. Marlon referenced previous comments Spears made during conversations connected to DJ Vlad and said the issue crossed a line once money entered the discussion.
“Don’t talk about my money or my value or what I feel about what my value is,” Marlon said. “You don’t get to do that.”
Marlon also pointed out what he viewed as irony in the situation after Spears later ended up publicly disagreeing with DJ Vlad over money himself.
“And as a Black man, you should never, ever do that because one day you’re going to be in my position,” Marlon added. “Low and behold, eight months later, him and DJ Vlad beefing about him wanting more money from Vlad.”
The exchange instantly sparked reactions online, with fans debating whether the Wayans brothers were justified for finally responding or if the back-and-forth has gone too far.
