Tapanga says she slept with Papoose while Remy Ma was in prison, and the Tapanga Papoose situation finally got a straight answer on camera. An interviewer asked her flat out whether she had ever had sex with Papoose. She did not pause. “Yes,” she said. “The [expletive]? What else I say? What you want me to do?”

She opened by throwing his words back at him. Papoose has said he never knew her, and she is not entertaining that. “He said he never knew me,” she said, then cut the interviewer off before he could finish his follow up. “I don’t hear what he said,” she said, “he trying to secure his bag.”
She said this was not one window and not one moment. It ran before Remy went in, while she was in, and after she came home. “This was all during, like, before she even got… I got locked up, and she got locked up, and after,” she said.
The interviewer pushed for specifics and asked whether anything happened after Remy and Papoose were married. Remy Ma and Papoose got married in 2008 while she was serving her sentence, and she came home in 2014. Tapanga did not soften it. “Yes. No, not now,” she said. “Talking about when they got married in jail? Yes.”
Her own case came up right behind that, because the interviewer wanted to know how any of this was happening if she was locked up too. She said she was in and out. “I was out first on a bracelet,” she said. “I went to jail, I came out, then I went back and did the sentence.” When he walked it back one more time to make sure he had the Tapanga Papoose timeline right, that Remy was inside, Tapanga was outside, and the marriage was already in place, she confirmed it and added the detail herself. “And I’m on a bracelet,” she said. “At that time.”
She also said she is the one who ended it. “Because I left him alone when I started messing with this dude,” she said, and she connected the split to footage that surfaced afterward. “And that’s when that video came out.” She did not say what the video showed.
She said she went back in to finish her sentence and learned something while she was inside. “So then I end up going back in jail, and that’s when I found out.” She did not say what she found out, and the interviewer did not get it out of her before the clip ended.
Papoose’s only word on any of this is the denial, that he never knew her at all. Tapanga says that denial is about money, not memory.
