Claressa Shields told everyone in her livestream who came in mad about “Jezebel” to get off her live, and then made it clear she stands on the record anyway. “If you mad on here about ‘Jezebel,’ just get off, bro,” she said. “For real, I ain’t even talking about that. I wasn’t even ’bout to get into that. Just go.”

She kept saying she was not going to address it and kept circling back to it. “Gone. I wasn’t even ’bout to talk about that. Gone,” she said, before giving the song its flowers anyway. “I was not ’bout to get into that. But it’s a good [expletive] song, and it needed to be said. Gone now.”
Then she got to why the outrage does not move her. “How y’all mad? Somebody make three diss tracks about me and my man, calling me all type of names, trolling me, dropping songs on the day that I fight,” Claressa Shields said. “Now y’all mad ’cause he said ‘Jezebel’?” She shut the topic down with one more line. “Y’all mad at me. Gone. Leave us alone.
Jezebel” is Papoose’s record, and it dropped September 11, the same day as a hearing in his divorce from Remy Ma. He never says Remy’s name on it, but the song walks through the collapse of the marriage, claims he was the one writing her raps, and brings up bailing her out and sending her money. Remy filed for divorce in 2023 after 17 years, and the two separated in late 2024.
The three diss tracks Claressa Shields is counting come from Remy’s side. Remy released “W.Y.F.L.” and then “Wanna Go,” which arrived right before Claressa’s August fight, and she has teased another one called “Why I Get Married” with Keke Wyatt on it. Papoose’s legal team sent Remy a cease and desist asking for the songs to come down. That is the timeline Claressa is pointing at when she says people are picking the wrong moment to find their outrage.
The day before “Jezebel” came out, Remy went on Instagram and told Papoose to sign the divorce papers and prove his love to Claressa, and posted the court date and time while she was at it. Claressa has been linked to Papoose since the separation, and the two of them have been trading shots with Remy on X all week.
The live did not stay heavy. Someone off camera asked Claressa if she needed water, and she took the break to handle something else. “Yes. Y’all, I gotta take this Claritin ‘fore I mess my makeup up, for real,” she said. Then she played the song and sang along with it, before catching a bar that got her all over again. “Man, I said, ‘What the hell, bro?'”
