Paramount Pictures recently released the trailer, showing SpongeBob and Patrick teaming up with The Flying Dutchman, voiced by Mark Hamill, on a deep-sea adventure.

Ice Spice appears in the trailer as a fish at Bikini Bottom High School, where Mr. Krabs and Squidward go while trying to rescue SpongeBob. She also released a new single called “Big Guy” to coincide with the movie.

According to the official synopsis, “Desperate to be a big guy, SpongeBob sets out to prove his bravery to Mr. Krabs by following The Flying Dutchman – a mysterious swashbuckling ghost pirate – on a seafaring comedy-adventure that takes him to the deepest depths of the deep sea, where no Sponge has gone before.”

The film features George Lopez, Rodger Bumpass, Tom Kenny, Sherry Cola, Bill Fagerbakke, Carolyn Lawrence, Regina Hall, Clancy Brown, and Ice Spice. Classic characters return with their familiar voices, including SpongeBob, Patrick, Mr. Krabs, Squidward, and Sandy Cheeks.
