The political partnership between Marjorie Taylor Greene and Donald Trump went up in flames online after both turned their private frustrations into a full public spectacle, complete with long statements, accusations and text message screenshots.
Greene opened the floodgates first, telling followers that Trump “attacked” her and misrepresented her actions. She claimed the tension started when she pushed for Congress to vote on releasing Epstein-related documents. According to her, that vote is what caused Trump to become angry. Greene said he is pressuring Republicans to block the files and argues that he is making an example of her so others fall in line.
To back up her side, Greene posted text messages she says she sent Trump about why the files matter and why she believed he should support their release. She also shared a separate exchange where she defended her past loyalty to him. Greene insisted she devoted time, money, and political capital to supporting him over the years but made it clear she doesn’t “serve” him and answers only to her district and her faith.
Trump wasted no time firing back. In a long statement, he announced he is pulling his endorsement of Greene entirely. He accused her of constant complaining, said she became angry when he told her not to run for higher office, and claimed she’s upset he no longer returns her calls. Trump suggested conservatives in her district are tired of her behavior and signaled he is ready to back a primary challenger.
Greene says she is staying committed to her version of an America First agenda. Trump has made it clear he is moving on and distancing himself from her completely.
Whether this breakup becomes permanent or just another political feud remains to be seen, but for now, both have taken their grievances directly to the timeline.
